My Story

I am a marketing professional with an art background, originally from Texas but now based in Michigan. In 2015, I graduated from The High School for the Visual and Performing Arts with a discipline in Visual Art. My work focused primarily on painting, textiles, and print-making. While at HSPVA, I gained a strong understanding of color theory, design, and balance in composition. All these aspects work together to create any successful visual display or marketing deliverables. My time there also illuminated my love of film and video production.

Currently, I am a full-time In-House Marketing Specialist specializing in copywriting, design, and digital marketing with a heavy emphasis on social media and content marketing.

In-House Marketing Specialist // JavaMaster International

  • Planning and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and lead inquiries

  • Designing all marketing assets such as digital graphics, social media posts, promotional designs, packaging designs, and handouts for both digital and printed formats

Lead Host // Uchi Houston

  • Strategically planned and oversaw the seating for up to 425 guests per night (315 during the Covid-19 pandemic) to maximize restaurant covers while minimizing guest wait times

  • Was the first and last point of contact for all guests, including V.I.P clients, politicians, business moguls, and celebrities

  • Communicated with servers and management to ensure that all guests’ specific requests were accommodated

  • Managed phone and in-person guest inquiries, reservations, and special event bookings

  • Displayed advanced beverage knowledge on the cocktail patio to increase total F&B sales

Marketing Intern // TwinEngine

  • Managed and created content for TwinEngine’s company Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and blog accounts, increasing engagement by 38%

  • Developed and implemented an editorial calendar to execute TwinEngine’s digital content strategy and marketing campaigns
